We’ve been busy this summer!  With the help of supporters like you, we made more than 1000 grocery deliveries to families hit hardest by the pandemic.  We’ve heard from dozens of the families we served, thanking us for stepping in when help was needed, including from a family whose youngest son is fighting Neuroblastoma, a single dad whose hours were cut due to the pandemic, and a lovely young woman who was furloughed from her job just months after she took custody of her nieces.  Your support helped the people in this community when they needed it most.  THANK YOU!

We also collected and delivered over 10,000 school supplies to local, low-income students who will now start the year off with what they need to succeed.  Thank you to everyone who donated a box and shopped from our wish list. The delight that these kids felt when they got a box of brand new supplies was palpable.  THANK YOU!

All of this was in addition to the work we’ve been doing to make sure that every kid–regardless of gender, race, or zip code–has the opportunity to become 21st century innovators.  Throughout the summer, we hosted weekly STEAM challenges, and as we move into the Fall, we are gearing up to roll out our programs in local schools.

None of this would be possible without your help!  We deeply and genuinely appreciate every person who has volunteered, donated and spread the word about the Kuma Foundation.  THANK YOU!
